For the Vie Yuyu collection, ‘slowly’ is a design intention: leave enough room to notice what a page asks of the person using it. Here are three ideas behind the books and printables we are exploring.
Give each page one job
A page can invite a sketch, hold a short list, or make space for a reflection. When we try to fit all three into every corner, the invitation becomes harder to see.
We start with a question: what should someone be able to do here? Then we remove the details that compete with that action. Empty space is part of the answer.
Leave room for real days
Some days have time for a long journal entry. Others have room for one word. Undated pages and open prompts can accommodate both without turning a missed day into an unfinished assignment.
A useful page should let you choose how much to bring to it. A planner can hold three priorities. A drawing can stay a sketch. A note can be just a line.

Before imagining a whole collection, we can begin with one printable. Use it, notice which pages invite you back, and let that experience shape the next edition.
